USA Technology's Miser family is a line of occupancy-based energy control technologies. CoolerMiser, controls glass front coolers. This product creates energy and dollar savings for organizations with glass front coolers. CoolerMiser can stand alone or it can be a perfect companion to the powerful VendingMiser.

CoolerMiser will power down a glass front machine when it determines that no one is in the area around the machine. Like other Miser family members, CoolerMiser utilizes a Passive Infrared (PIR) Sensor to determine occupancy in the area around the glass front machine. For a bank of machines, CoolerMiser can utilize its unique embedded Sensor Repeater, which allows it to be controlled from the PIR sensor of any other Miser in the bank. This facilitates a quick and simple installation.

CoolerMiser can save an average of $100 per year, per cooler in energy costs. In addition, one CoolerMiser reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 1,600 lbs of C02 and 2,740 grams of NOx each year.*

Additionally, keeping a glass front machine’s electronics powered off, unless the machine is actually needed, lengthens the expected lifetime of the equipment and reduces its exposure to damaging power line spikes. Air conditioning load is also reduced, resulting in further savings. CoolerMiser is proudly made in the USA.
